BARLEY-TWIST TABLE

A freshly repolished panelled top, framed by a dark barley-twist base.

This wooden dining table was sanded and repolished by John, refreshing its finish while retaining the character of its panelled top and distinctive barley-twist base.

The sanded surface reveals the lighter timber beneath the finish. Repolishing brings out the grain and gives the tabletop a warm colour and gentle sheen, contrasting with the darker legs and stretchers below.

The completed table is shown in the studio and in a digitally styled home setting.
