COBRA PORSCHE SEAT
A Cobra bucket seat adjusted and reupholstered in navy vinyl, with an embroidered Porsche crest.
The customer brought this Cobra bucket seat to John to be adjusted and reupholstered for their Porsche. Its original black fabric covering showed signs of wear, while the tall back, pronounced shoulder supports and deep side bolsters gave the seat a distinctive shape.
The new upholstery uses navy vinyl, with horizontal stitched panels running down the backrest and an embroidered Porsche crest positioned near the top. The dark blue covering brings a different character to the seat, with a subtle sheen that catches the light across its curved surfaces.
Working around the bucket seat’s contours, the covering follows the transition from the broad shoulders to the narrower backrest and deep seat cushion. The finished upholstery retains the recognisable outline of the Cobra seat while giving it a personalised appearance for its intended vehicle.
