VELVET CHAISE & CHAIR

Coordinated reupholstery in silver-grey crushed velvet, finished with decorative braid.

John reupholstered this chaise longue and accompanying armchair in matching silver-grey crushed velvet, bringing a coordinated finish to two distinctive timber-framed pieces. The fabric’s changing sheen sits alongside the warm wood, highlighting the chaise’s sweeping shape and the armchair’s tall carved back.

Decorative silver braid neatly defines the upholstered edges, following the curves of the chaise and framing the armchair’s back, seat and padded arms. A matching cylindrical bolster completes the chaise, with a gathered circular end and decorative tassel adding a final detail.

Returned to the customer’s bedroom, the pieces provide complementary places to sit and recline while retaining their individual character.
