MAHOGANY TROLLEY
A bespoke mahogany trolley with handmade wheels, turned spindles and a pull-out serving tray.
John made this bespoke mahogany serving trolley for a customer, crafting the wooden wheels and spindles himself. The turned details carry through the uprights, wheel spokes and raised handle, bringing a consistent character to the piece.
The design combines a drop-leaf top with a pull-out serving tray and lower shelf. Large spoked wheels sit at one end, with smaller castors beneath the handle end. These practical features provide serving and storage space within a compact piece of furniture.
The finished photographs show the rich brown finish and detailed woodwork, while the workshop views document the trolley before finishing, including its extended tray. A digitally styled interior image illustrates how the completed piece could sit within a home.
