DAMASK & GILT BEDROOM

A chaise longue, headboard and end-of-bed stool reupholstered in coordinated rose damask fabric.

John reupholstered this bedroom suite in a coordinated rose damask fabric, bringing together a chaise longue, upholstered headboard and end-of-bed stool. The fabric’s tonal pattern and soft sheen complement the ornate gold-toned frames.

Each piece has its own character. The chaise combines a long upholstered seat with a woven cane back, scrolling carved apron and matching bolster and cushions. The headboard’s broad upholstered panel sits within a carved leaf border, echoed by the decorative apron of the stool.

Together, the three pieces create a cohesive bedroom suite, with the patterned upholstery connecting their different shapes and carved details.
