TEXTILE MEDIA WALL

A bespoke media wall combining sculpted upholstery with integrated shelving and storage.

John made this bespoke media wall to bring the television, shelving and storage together in one fitted piece. Horizontal padded sections form the surround, with staggered joins giving the upholstered surface depth and rhythm.

The charcoal and silver-toned fabric follows the rounded profiles, catching the light across its fine stripes. Recessed side shelving and lower compartments provide practical storage, while the upholstery continues around the screen and across the lower frontage.

Made and upholstered in the workshop before installation, the project combines John’s cabinet-making and upholstery skills in a single commission.
